How do you get thousands of people down to the beach on a cold winter’s day to do nothing but walk slowly on the soft sand in front of hundreds of bewildered onlookers?

Running events, and getting people to turn up to them, can be tricky, but it can be one of the coolest and most impactful things we can do as business people and as humans.

Pioneering soft sand walking meditations on one of the world’s busiest beaches (Bondi Beach) was one of these impactful things. I wanted to teach crucial skills to people completely new to meditation and mindfulness, in an environment where we could engage these people where they were. If you run meditation classes in a meditation hall, you probably just get meditators. You run it on a beach, using walking as the anchor, and you get people from all walks of life - and to make a change, that’s what you need.

From launching new store openings, conferences, speaker and panel nights, film launches, fundraisers, and competitions to the ambitious soft-sand walking meditations - I have a wealth of experience in events and the ideas and strategies behind them that make them successful.
